| I created and named Stamford, the Chelsea mascot, in 1980. Allister Bowtell made an excellent job of converting my drawings into the original costume. For a few seasons I created a Stamford cartoon in every home match programme. The team photographer told me it was the first thing the team looked at when they received their copies. | ||||||||||
